Job Description

We are seeking an Assessment & Evaluation Analyst who will participate in evaluation studies involving mixed-methods data collection, conducts scholarly literature reviews, provides expertise in advanced statistical methods, interprets results from data analyses, and writes technical reports.

This position will involve working with multiple studies on an as-needed basis to supplement senior-level project management and research work by resident CRRE staff. This role will be a casual position because the timing of studies and hours needed will vary across the year.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with the project PI and communicate regularly regarding project status.
  • Serve as a statistical consultant to the project PI.
  • Synthesize, analyze and interpret quantitative data.
  • Conduct scholarly literature searches and reviews of prior research as needed for evaluation projects and papers.
  • Prepare and write detailed reports to clients compiling and summarizing findings, and makes recommendations for program improvements, policies, and follow-up research.
  • Participate with the team and the clients in planning follow-up studies and dissemination of results of completed studies.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Statistics or from an education program with a strong emphasis in Statistics.
  • Six years' experience as a quantitative researcher on applied research projects.
  • Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in Statistics or from an education program with a strong emphasis in statistics and quantitative research methods.
  • Five plus years' experience as lead quantitative education researcher.

Education and Experience Equivalency

Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis.
