Pay Rate: $22.00/Hour on w2 without benefits

Work hours: 35 Hours

lunch period (Unpaid):12-1pm

Dress Code (Business Attire/Business Casual/Casual): Business Casual

Office or Remote: Both

Duration: 6+ months

Job Description

Responsibilities

Conduct client intake and assess work readiness.

Develop Individual Responsibility Plans (IRPs) and guide clients through critical documents.

Match clients with activities that meet WFNJ work requirements, and refer to supportive services when needed.

Provide career and employment counseling.

Enter and update client data in AOSOS, and document progress with accurate, detailed counselor notes.

Maintain thorough, confidential client files.

Process timesheets and job search logs.

Monitor participation and follow up with clients on required activities.

Communicate proactively with supervisors, keeping them updated on client issues and program needs in real time.

Collaborate with the One-Stop Career Center, Social Services staff, community agencies, and WFNJ providers.

Recommend sanctioning action when clients are not in compliance.

Attend Fair Hearings as required.

Represent Employment and Training Services at meetings and events.

Take on additional responsibilities as needed, such as scheduling playing a role in Community Work Experience Program (CWEP) and working with vendors.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field (required).

Previous experience in social services, human services, or related fields.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to maintain professional social work boundaries with clients.

Proficiency with technology and software; strong knowledge of PC Office tools.

Familiarity with WFNJ and One-Stop Career Center programs, systems, and services preferred.

Job Description:

  • Design, modify and develop various templates for publishing in an in-house proprietary application.
  • Implement advanced functionalities, for example content controls (e.g. date pickers, dropdown menus, text fields and maintain accessibility)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for feedback, review, and approval.
  • Test, validate, upload, configure, manage within the proprietary application.
  • Serves as a back up to download reports from proprietary applications, update other proprietary application based on received files and send reports to various in-house users.
  • Compare reports within applications and update changes.
  • Release reports in various mediums based on specified conditions and updates applications.

Required Skills:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in graphic design preferred with Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS):
  • Word Expert (MO-111 or MO-101) / desktop publishing with 1 yr of exp
  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS): Word Expert (MO-111 or MO-101) with 2 Yrs of exp.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Publisher)
  • Proficient in creating documents/ templates adhering to document layout fundamentals, typography management, visual integration, testing/ troubleshoot
  • Exceptional in proofreading to 100% accuracy, copyediting, template file management, accessibility design (e.g. Section 508 compliance), protection,
  • Proficient in content management, moving documents/ templates into applications
  • Advanced in Grammar and spelling and File and process management
  • Strong in written and verbal communication skills and Ability to utilize various in-house applications
