Certified Arborist

About Us: Join Superior Landscaping & Lawn Service, Inc., a leading organization in the Landscape sector. We are dedicated to preserving and enhancing our environment through expert tree care. We are currently seeking a skilled Certified Arborist to join our team and contribute to our mission.

Job Description: As a Certified Arborist, you will be responsible for providing expert care and maintenance of trees and other woody plants. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and aesthetic appeal of trees in various outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities But Not Limited To:

• Evaluate the health of trees and diagnose potential diseases or infestations.
• Manage crews.
• Provide recommendations for tree care and maintenance.
• Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal tasks safely and efficiently.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments as needed.
• Plant and transplant trees to promote healthy growth.
• Prepare reports and documentation on tree health and maintenance.
• Collaborate with other professionals such as landscape architects and municipal planners.
• Provide training and educational talks on tree care and conservation.
• Comply with all local and national regulations regarding tree care and removal.

Qualifications:

• Certification from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in arboriculture or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of tree biology and care practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in using arboriculture tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
