A contract position is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support K-12 students in a school setting. This role is designed for a dedicated professional focused on delivering therapeutic interventions that help students develop essential skills for their academic and daily living activities.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve student performance in school-related tasks
• Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to support student progress
• Monitor and document students responses to therapy and adjust interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reporting

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
• Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and school-based interventions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with school staff and families
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain thorough documentation
