A healthcare opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support elementary school students in an educational setting. This contract position is based in Woodland, WA, and aligns with the current school year calendar.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification and licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with healthcare experience.
• Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged children.
• Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and educational collaboration.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to elementary students under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
• Assess students needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving students functional performance and participation in school activities.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student development.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the schools inclusive learning environment.
