Job Description
We are in need of a Courier in Orlando, FL. The work will take less than 1 hour to complete each day. This is a great supplemental opportunity. The entire scope of work is from Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (starts at 8:00 a.m.) without work on Federal holidays or weekends.
You must be able to successfully pass a Federal Government Security Background and Fingerprint check.
You must have reliable transportation.
A $100.00 signing bonus is available for candidates who apply before September 15, 2024, and successfully passes the background check. The signing bonus is provided after the second week is worked.
The position description is provided below:
1) Pick up locked bins from an office located on Corporate Centre Blvd., Orlando, FL 32822. The locked bins will be provided. Each (stackable) bin is approximately 22” long x 15” wide x 13” deep. Pickup will be made at the office at approximately 8:00 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, except federal holidays (if there is a federal holiday, the pickup and return drop off will occur the next business day). Pickup will typically consist of approximately 15 locked bins, each weighing approximately 30-50 pounds. There may be occasions where more than 15 bins must be picked up.
The first pickup location allows deliveries at the rear of the building. The courier should knock on the back door. An employee will meet the courier at the back door and provide the bins to the courier.
2) Deliver the bins to an office location located at North Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801 no later than 1 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, except federal holidays (if there is a federal holiday, the delivery will occur the next business day).
The office allows for pick up and deliveries through the front entrance. The courier and containers may be subject to a security screening process. All bins delivered will be processed through an x-ray machine. The entire security process could take up to 20 or 25 minutes.
3) The courier will deliver the locked bins to the office located at Corporate Centre Blvd., Orlando, FL 32822. There may be occasions where more than 15 bins must be picked up.
4) Pick up and return drop off will occur Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, except federal holidays as indicated below.
The courier/driver will be required to sign a daily log at each pickup/delivery location to verify that pickup/delivery was made.
Pay: $50.00 / day, plus bonuses
