Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations.
  • You must set the example and follow all policies and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from your crew.
  • Other duties include staffing, paperwork, food management, working to a schedule, maintaining a perfect image and adherence to standards, delivering great customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.

Qualifications

General job duties for all store team members

  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility daily.

Training

Orientation and on-the-job training provided.

Communication Skills

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions/Skills

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to perform precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

  • Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
  • In-store temperatures range from 36F to 90F+ in some areas.
  • Fumes from food odors; cornmeal dust; cramped quarters including walk-in cooler.
  • Hot surfaces/tools up to 500F or higher; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Sensing

  • Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid-range vision; depth perception; ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make decisions.

Physical Requirements

  • Standing, walking, occasional sitting; typical office paperwork activities.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds; carrying pizza-related loads; pushing/pulling trays; climbing stairs or ladders; frequent bending and reaching.
  • Physical tasks may include handling dough, crates, cans and kitchen tools.

Driving Specific Duties

  • Deliver product by car to customers and distribute flyers/door hangers.
  • Requires valid drivers license with safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle.

Required Skills for Delivery

  • Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses; ability to navigate multi-story buildings and delivery sites while carrying product.

Physical Demands for Delivery

  • Carrying pizzas and beverages; walking, climbing stairs; driving within a designated delivery area.

Work Conditions (Delivery)

  • Exposure to varying weather conditions when delivering, driving and couponing; vision requirements for driving.
