About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Event Content & Talent for a significant sporting event. The successful candidate will be a key member of the events and entertainment team, responsible for the planning and management of the day-to-day content and talent project plan. This includes overseeing all event content and talent details, internal alignment, broadcast and event delivery, and approval processes. The role involves contributing to the development of policies and procedures, project charters, and planning for the most engaging and innovative event experience. The Head of Event Content & Talent will also be involved in stakeholder liaison, on-venue collaboration, and ensuring the creative integrity of all event deliveries. Applicants for the Head of Event Content & Talent position should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 10-12 years' experience in a similar role, particularly in managing complex projects within sporting multi-venue mega events. Experience in large event services and venue teams, as well as working with sporting organizations, governing bodies, sport presentation, and a range of broadcast and media services, is essential. The role requires proficiency in MS Office and planning software, as well as a strong understanding of content production processes and digital media. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the latest trends and technologies in the industry and be fluent in English, with Spanish and/or French proficiency being a plus.
