About Role

The Integrated Marketing Director will oversee strategy across PR, social media, talent and brand partnerships. Oversight includes working directly with the VP of Marketing and Head of Business Development on strategies that drive brand awareness and customer acquisition. Additionally, the role will directly manage Centr’s PR agency, internal social team and agency partners, and work cross functionally to effectively execute brand partnerships.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strategize, research, and stay up-to-date on category trends to inform PR and social media activation.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for brand initiatives across Centr’s digital coaching experience and physical products.
  • Manage day-to-day PR requests from agency, including: product seeding, communication/messaging, content development, talent editorial opportunities, press release strategy, and information sharing to drive effective strategy on deadline.
  • Manage daily social media output across all brand channels, including: content review, community engagement, measurement and reporting for executive review.
  • Support brand partnership strategy and work directly with the Head of Business development to negotiate partnership terms and oversee partnership execution and ongoing activation.
  • Lead and grow affiliate marketing strategy in partnership with PR agency.
  • Oversee PR event activation and brand experiential marketing strategy.
  • Manage Integrated Marketing team progress and performance to ensure assigned work is completed correctly and on deadlines.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to develop marketing staff by providing information and educational opportunities.
  • Work closely with VP, Marketing to determine department budgets and align budget with activation strategy.
  • Provide short and long-term market forecasts for driving brand growth and customer acquisition through regular data collection and analysis.
  • Develop new strategies for PR, social, and partnerships that help breakthrough the fitness / wellness category and position Centr as a thought leader in the space.
  • Maintain marketing staff / grow team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Cultivate relationships with cross functional stakeholders to align functional strategy with departments and business objectives.
  • Identify short-term and long-term opportunities to drive growth.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record of effectively leading teams and cross-functional communication.
  • Direct experience leading strategy across PR, Social, and brand partnerships.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial thinker.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong existing relationships in the social media and marketing space.
  • Experience and / or passion for fitness / wellness lifestyle.
  • Direct experience driving measurable brand growth and customer acquisition.
  • Knowledge of brand identity, advertising, digital marketing and social media strategy and best practices.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint / Google Slides, Excel and Photoshop.
  • Experience working with and creating budgets.
