The DCS Air and Space Technology Sector are seeking an Analyst to support foreign emerging technology analysis efforts.
As a member of our team, you will support U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) efforts in Dayton, OH. This offers opportunities to work in a dynamic environment, with state-of-the-art technologies, simulation integration experts, and Subject Matter Experts (SME). This work focuses on analyzing emerging technologies for the U.S. DoD.
Essential Job Functions:
Expertly discover, analyze, compile, and report on foreign emerging technology using various systems and methodologies.
Leverage all-source data fusion techniques to support customer analytical needs.
Create informative reports and presentations, effectively demonstrating the comprehensive functionality and behaviors of foreign emerging technologies in line with customer requirements.
Work with subject-matter experts and other analysts to formulate and achieve analysis goals.
Guide and mentor teammates as needed.
Additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
At least an Associate’s degree in Intelligence Studies and Technology, and at least 14 years of related experience.
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Must posses an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Experience analyzing weapons systems, components of weapons systems, or other technologies.
Understanding of basic and advanced radar theory.
Knowledge of air-to-air, air-to-surface, and surface-to-air systems.
Ability and desire to work in a group environment.
Possession of excellent English oral and written communication skills.
Diverse work background (multiple disciplines or multiple technologies).
Desired Skills:
Experience in analysis and reporting with the U.S. Intelligence Community.
MS in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related technical discipline.
Familiarity with modern military systems, both foreign and domestic, especially air weapons technology (air-to-air, air-to-ground).
NASIC or Intelligence Community experience preferred.
