Proactively supports organization-wide internal communications initiatives for one or more internal stakeholders, including Human Resources (benefits, compensation, health and wellness, performance management, learning and development), Quality, IT, Nursing, etc. Collaborates with leadership of assigned area to conceptualize internal communications plans to meet that area's objectives.
Helps ensure all campaigns maintain a strong connection with the Prisma Health purpose.
Supports, strengthens and enhances the organization's internal culture and engagement across all internal audiences, including leaders, team members, physicians and volunteers.
Develops and oversees the implementation of internal communications plans to meet internal stakeholder's objectives.
Creates and edits a variety of communication material to engage, persuade and connect with team members of diverse backgrounds at all organizational levels.
Serves as the primary point of contact for coordinating and implementing content in Prisma Health's internal communications channels including intranet, digital newsletters, Yammer, flyers, etc.
Measures communications campaigns based on set metrics, identifies opportunities for improvement and implements follow-up actions.
Works to ensure that internal communications complements media relations, social media and marketing by collaborating with the larger team to achieve coordination of internal and external communications.
Strengthens and supports the Prisma Health organizational voice, including lexicon, tone and message, in adherence with AP Style and Prisma Health's own style guidelines.
Supports Media Relations team with media relations functions when needed.
Serves as on-call team member, in rotation with members of the M&C team.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Education - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, Business or Healthcare related field of study.
Experience - Five (5) years of experience. Healthcare experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience using email customer relationship marketing (CRM) software, such as Salesforce, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, etc.
Experience using content management systems to create and maintain web content, internal or external facing.
Strong writing, editing, communication and strategy thinking skills
Proficiency in spelling, grammar, punctuation; strong proofreading skills and attention to detail; and competency in AP Style
Ability to consistently incorporate Prisma Health brand voice across all platforms/ communications
Project management skills essential
Strong oral presentation skills and personal presence
Ability to effectively interact with all levels of an organization
Proficiency in managing numerous projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines
Strong organizational skills
Must demonstrate creativity, adaptability and flexibility, initiative, organizational savvy.
Able to complete ongoing professional development activities.
Good listening and communication skills
