Salary: $104,650 - 189,175 per year Requirements:
- We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field with at least 9 years of professional experience, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- The ability to obtain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance from the FAA.
- Proven experience in leading and guiding a team’s activities.
- Familiarity with a documented Integration and Test Development Process.
- Proficiency in UNIX and Linux operating systems.
- Strong integration capabilities with hands-on experience in unifying large and complex software systems.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities: - As a vital member of our dynamic team, you will:
- Enhance the experience for passengers, Air Traffic Control, and the airline sector by bolstering collaboration and decision-making for flight controllers.
- Oversee the technical implementation and testing of multiple concurrent builds, working closely with clients to drive collaborative activities.
- Interact directly with system integrators, program leaders, and cross-functional teams to pinpoint functional, usability, and performance shortcomings, offering improvement recommendations.
- Contribute to the development and coordination of operationally pertinent test strategies and evaluation test protocols.
- Establish and shape test processes and procedures to support functional and system testing in a high-paced development setting.
- Promote a collective team focus on delivering high-quality outputs, enhancing test efficiencies, and ensuring timely results that align with program schedules.
- Generate Test Evaluation Reports and Status Reports during active build testing, providing insights for the Government Test & Evaluation Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Test Procedures, Test Readiness Reviews, and Final Test Reports.
- Assist fellow engineers in designing and executing tests, analyzing data, and documenting results, including interpreting the significance of findings.
- Integrate complex software systems with minimal external assistance and troubleshoot system-level issues, presenting detailed supporting data for identified problems.
- Understand System Level Requirements and guide the test team to ensure that team objectives are effectively aligned with program milestones.
- Develop and maintain testing strategies and procedures according to specified requirements.
- Analyze disclosed issues in collaboration with System Engineering and Software teams to formulate solutions.
- Support verification and validation of test and requirement processes.
- Familiarize yourself with system architecture, design, functions, and capabilities to assist in integrating and testing new enhancements.
- Act as a technical liaison between system test integrators and software development teams to guarantee smooth integration across multiple releases.
- Execute manual tests in both the Physical Lab and Virtual Test Lab (VTL), and perform formal testing with the customer and quality assurance entities.
