TheraEx Staffing Services - APP is seeking a Physician Assistant Clinic Urgent Care for a locum tenens job in Harbor City, California.
Job Description & Requirements Job Details:
•\tPay: $110 Hr.
•\tCoverage: ASAP – 3 Months, with option to extend as needed
•\tSchedule: 8 Hour Shift – 2 PM - 9:30 PM Monday - Friday or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM 3x12 (including every other weekend)
•\tDaily Responsibilities: Urgent Care cases (Flu, Sickness, I&D, Lacerations, Suturing, Incisions, draining of abscess, Toenails, Fractures, X-Ray Reading Capabilities Required, etc.), Must be comfortable with write-ups and dealing with higher acuity cases if needed
•\tNo Call
•\tPatients per shift: Patients scheduled every 20 minutes – time set up per 4-hour block to catch up on items or chart (1 X 20-minute period)
•\tEMR: Epic
•\tCredentialing timeframe: 12 Weeks from time application submitted (No temps available)
Requirements:
•\tActive unrestricted CA License
•\tActive BLS certifications
•\tMinimum 3 years of experience
•\tBoard Certified
•\tVaccination Requirement: Required with Booster
•\tFull-time coverage is mandatory—no deviations from the requested schedule will be accepted.
•\tMust be able to provide at least 2 supervisory references.
