Summary:

Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is currently seeking LPN candidates to join our local Float Pool team! As a Float Pool team member, this position is eligible for mileage reimbursement.This position is benefit eligible working full-time hours are 40 hours per week Monday through Friday with the flexibility to work work four (4) 10 hour work days. Job Responsibilities:

• Recognizes, evaluates, and responds to emergency or unusual situations in the clinic using judgment within skill level to obtain additional help, if needed, to ensure proper medical care.
• Prepares examination/treatment rooms for provider's use by ensuring that appropriate supplies, equipment, and instruments are available and ready on a daily basis. Maintains examination/treatment rooms in a neat and orderly manner.
• Assists as needed and/or instructs the patient in preparation for the provider's examination and/or specific treatment.
• Assists the provider with examination by anticipating needs for instruments and supplies (e.g., minor surgery, pelvic examinations, diagnostic procedures, etc.)
• Performs routine procedures within skill level and certification per provider's order.

• Must be able to recognize and identify patient's symptoms and use appropriate professional judgment in course of action.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and work at all four (4) BMC sites, as assigned.
• Must be available by phone to accept assignment changes as needed.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Licensed by the Colorado State Board of Nursing or equivalent.

Experience:

• One (1) or more years nursing experience in a clinic or hospital, preferred.

The starting hourly pay range for this position is commensurate with experience:

• $22.21 - $28.00/hour (full pay range is $22.21 - $33.32)

This position will be posted for a minimum of three days, subsequently until filled.

Location(s):

• This position will be expected to travel between all five site locations in Boulder County (Boulder, Erie, Longmont, and Louisville, CO). This position is also eligible for mileage reimbursement.
