Mobile Patrol Security Officer

TREELINE SECURITY INC is looking for a full-time Mobile Patrol Security Officer to work in San Francisco, CA. A Mobile Patrol Security Officer will operate the day-to-day security operations while maintaining professionalism and elevated customer service. The Mobile Patrol Security officer is responsible to patrol both in a marked security vehicle and on foot.

Pay

Weekly pay $21-$25/hour depending on experience and qualifications

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Project an image of friendliness, presentability, and professionalism to all building occupants, workers, and neighbors.
• Ensure the safety and security of the property and personnel.
• Ensure that all work performed follows departmental operating practices/procedures.
• Run Access Control Reports when necessary.
• Handle any disturbances or problems that arise during an event or on site.
• Write incident reports and meet with security management to review procedures.
• Tour facilities examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secured.
• Assist with evacuation during fire, storms, riots, and other emergencies.
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Check other patrol officers at buildings for compliance to uniform standards.
• Receive calls for call offs and late arrivals, making adjustments to schedules and covering posts as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Active CA Guard Card
• Valid Driver License -Because this is a driving position a valid Driver License and clean Motor Vehicle Record is required pursuant to CA law.

• 2 - 3 years of hands-on experience in security preferred, minimum of two years
• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to complete written reports and correspondence
• Must be able to work extended hours including nights, weekends, on-call status, and holidays, as necessary
• Ability to de-escalate situations

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• Experience and ability to work with a wide range of demographics
• Experience in supervisor or manager positions

All employment begins with 90-day probationary period during which only part time hours may be available.

The Mobile Patrol Security Officer must know each site and the orders. Before advancing fully into the Mobile Patrol Security Officer job the ideal candidate will spend several weeks training at various sites.
