What You'll Be Doing Respond to emergencies and administer first aid to employees for job related illnesses and injuries Deliver OSHA and job/site/contract required surveillance program services (i.e. hearing conservation, respiratory protection, visual acuity, bloodborne pathogens, biological monitoring, etc.) to identified employee populations in collaboration with Environmental Health and Safety. Note: most of these services are performed offsite by an outside clinic, but the nurse will be responsible for scheduling, obtaining and reviewing all results from the clinic Maintain accurate recordkeeping in electronic medical records system (Cority) in compliance with OSHA requirements Dispense OTC Medications Maintain compliance with laws, regulations and standards governing occupational health and safety for employees and the workplace Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10:30pm What You Need to Bring to the Table Active and unrestricted California RN license Current BLS certification Associates Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred At least five (5) years of experience as a Registered Nurse Experience in Occupational / Employee Health, ER, or Urgent Care settings a plus Audiometry and/or Spirometry certifications a plus Certified Occupational Health Nurse a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail, and internet navigation Strong presentation skills Ability to work independently or with a team on special projects Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously Ability to maintain confidential documents and information Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at one time under tight deadlines Ability to function within all levels of organization and at various locations What’s In It For You?
