Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) Location: Washington DC; Medical Operations and Readiness Unit (MORU) Quantico; FBI Laboratory Division Quantico; FBI Operational Technology Division (OTD) Duties shall include but are not limited to: Provide evaluation and treatment of ill and injured employees according to FBI nursing and medical protocols. Administer and interpret Mantoux TB skin tests; perform screening evaluations, electrocardiographs, venipuncture, and vision exams. Manage and perform clinical, administrative, and program duties as assigned by Contracted Medical Officer, Senior NP/PA, or COR. Operate under established standing orders from the FBI CMO and staff FBI Medical Officers (MOs). Perform first responder duties, triage, treat illnesses and injuries, and refer cases to staff MOs as needed. Administer routine and travel immunizations. Counsel employees regarding health and wellness issues, test results, arranging physical exams and tests, and assisting MOs in performance of exams. Manage and maintain health promotion programs, short-term counseling, and referrals to outside health and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) resources. Maintain medical, OSHA, and other documentation in print and electronic formats. May be required to drive specially equipped emergency vehicles or other government vehicles to respond to emergencies, perform AED checks, visit offsite locations, or perform other duties as assigned by the Contracted Medical Officer, Senior NP/PA, or COR. Education, Experience, and Credentialing OHN shall: Have completed Registered Nurse (RN) training from an accredited university, college, school, or nursing program recognized by ACEN, CCNE, or NLNAC. Hold and maintain an active, current, unrestricted RN license in the jurisdiction of care delivery. Maintain training and certification in Health Care Provider CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Have at least two (2) years of clinical experience as an RN. Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license. Must have or be able to attain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
