Position Overview We are looking for a skilled paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and is committed to excellence in client service. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging cases while being part of a team that values experience, dedication, and results. Key Responsibilities Litigation Support Draft and prepare legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence Assist with discovery processes, including document requests, interrogatories, and depositions Conduct legal research and fact investigation Organize and maintain case files and documentation Assist with trial preparation and courtroom support Client Relations Interview clients and witnesses to gather case information Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and developments Coordinate client meetings and court appearances Handle client inquiries with professionalism and empathy Case Management Manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting critical deadlines Track court dates, filing deadlines, and discovery schedules Coordinate with opposing counsel, court personnel, and expert witnesses Maintain accurate records in case management systems Qualifications Required Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience in a litigation environment Minimum 1+ years of litigation paralegal experience Proficiency in legal research databases and case management software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities under pressure Preferred Experience in civil litigation, employment law, or criminal defense Familiarity with Michigan state and federal court procedures Knowledge of e-discovery processes and litigation technology Experience with multi‑plaintiff or complex litigation matters What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with firm matching Paid time off and holidays Collaborative and supportive work environment Opportunity to work on high‑profile and impactful cases Our Commitment Flood Law is an equal‑opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
