We are seeking a dedicated and driven Pre-Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team and guide clients through the crucial first phase of their personal injury claims. In this role, you will investigate accidents, gather and analyze medical records and evidence, assess liability, and communicate with insurance carriers to advocate for our clients. You will counsel clients with empathy and professionalism, develop strategies to maximize recovery, and negotiate settlements aimed at achieving fair and timely resolutions. As part of our team, you will play a key role in building strong cases, protecting client rights, and laying the foundation for successful outcomes, whether through settlement or preparation for litigation.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Case Managers and Case Manager Assistants to ensure proper case handling from intake to settlement. 
  • Review compelling demand letters for high-value injury cases. 
  • Conduct meetings with clients to assess claims and provide legal guidance. 
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and advocate for policy limits. 
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients to provide updates and answer questions. 
  • Work closely with the Litigation Team to prepare cases for trial when necessary. 
  • Conduct regular audits of pre-litigation cases to ensure quality and compliance. 
  • Collaborate on case strategy, medical management, and valuation to maximize outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience practicing in personal injury law (plaintiff-side preferred)
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and efficiency
• Client-focused mindset with empathy and professionalism
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing deadlines
• Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit, while also capable of working independently
• Commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients

The pay range for this role is:
100,000 - 150,000 USD per year(Los Angeles, CA)
