Job Description

The role of the Product Concierge is to support and aid top tier Sales Consultants by greeting guests, answering product questions and assisting guests with becoming more comfortable with the technology on their vehicles. An energetic and positive attitude is essential! A high level of interpersonal communication skills is a must! In this role, a successful candidate will work closely with our Sales Consultants to assist with the delivery process of Mercedes-Benz vehicles as well as assist with the internet sales leads. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): * Administrative follow-up within Momentum (CRM Tool), telephone follow-up including the logging of each call made in Momentum, and email. * A successful Product Concierge needs the product knowledge, professionalism, and empathy that customers look for today. Communication is extremely important in a sales department as it contributes to team- building with Service and Sales Department. * Utilizes dealership CRM tool for all customer communication. * Attends product and sales training courses as requested by sales manager. * Keeps up-to-date on new products and services within the industry. * Aide Sales Consultants in maintaining an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction. * Aide Sales Consultants maintaining a prospect development system. * Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner. * Approaches, greets, and offers assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot. * Fully explains product performance, application, and benefits to prospects if asked by your Sales Consultant. * Describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase if asked by your Sales Consultant. * Exhibits a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction. * Knows and understands the federal, state, and local laws that govern retail auto sales. * Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers. * Ensures that the sales manager has an opportunity to meet each customer. * Aides Sales Consultants in preparing sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival. * Aides Sales Consultants delivering vehicles to customers, ensuring that each customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork. * Introduces customers to service department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department if asked to by your Sales Consultant. * Follows up on all post-delivery items, tag/title work, “we-owes,”,and special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met. * Reviews and analyzes actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively. * Attends sales meetings. * Maintains professional appearance. * Stays informed of current vehicle inventory and location. * Attends sales meetings and special events as scheduled. * Is familiar with departmental sales objectives. * Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year. Education and/or Experience: * Automotive experience is preferred. * Retail experience is a plus! Language Skills: * Bilingual is a plus. Schedule: * This is a full-time position. * Monday-Friday 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. * Saturday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. * Off Thursday and Sunday. * Flexible schedule based on salesman needs.
