Job Position: Reach Forklift

Location: Justin, TX 76247

Pay Rate: $17.25

Shift: 1st Mon-Fri 8am to 4:30pm + OT as required

Description: Stride Staffing has partnered with a 3rd party logistics company located in Justin (5-7 minutes from the TX Motor Speedway). Together we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented reach Forklift Operator. As a forklift operator you will support manufacturing operations by safely transporting raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility. This role ensures the timely flow of materials to production lines, maintains accurate inventory movement, and follows strict safety and quality standards. All candidates must have the experience listed below and be open to cross train as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a reach forklift to move raw materials, work-in-progress items, and finished products within the manufacturing plant.
• Supply production lines with required materials in a timely manner to prevent downtime.
• Load/unload trucks, stage materials, and transport pallets to designated production or storage areas.
• Use RF scanners or manufacturing inventory systems to track material movement.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Assist with receiving materials, verifying counts, and checking for damage.
• Maintain clean and organized staging areas, aisles, and storage zones.
• Follow all OSHA , plant safety procedures, lockout/tagout guidelines, and material-handling protocols.
• Participate in cycle counts, physical inventories, and stock rotation.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and line operators to meet manufacturing output goals.
• Label, weigh, and prepare products for shipment
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
• Report damaged or missing items promptly

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of previous warehouse or material handling experience
• 1-2 years of reach truck experience , preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Comfortable using RF scanners and basic warehouse systems
• Knowledge of material flow in a production setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Basic math and reading skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic
• Must pass a 10-year national background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screening

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to operate additional industrial equipment (sit-down forklift, cherry picker, pallet jack, etc.).

Work Environment:
This position is based in an active warehouse Non-Climate controlled setting, which may involve exposure to dust, noise, and extreme hot or cold temperatures depending on the season.
