Position Overview:

We are eager to welcome a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to our dynamic team. In this essential role, you will help students develop effective communication skills and address speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of students' speech and communication abilities.
  • Design personalized therapy plans and objectives based on assessment outcomes.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students targeting areas like articulation, phonology, and pragmatic skills.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and the educational team to support students’ communication objectives.
  • Implement evidence-based techniques during therapy sessions to foster speech and language development.
  • Track students' progress and modify therapy plans to ensure optimal results.
  • Accurately document therapy activities and progress reports.
  • Engage in IEP meetings to provide insights regarding students’ speech and language needs.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Current ASHA certification is required.
  • Passionate about working with K-12 students in a virtual setting.
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy is preferred.
  • Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques in speech-language pathology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience in teletherapy is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with AAC systems and assistive technology is a plus.
