Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to provide specialized occupational therapy services in an educational environment. This role is set in a K-12 school located in North Bend, OR, and aims to support students in achieving their individual therapeutic goals for the duration of the school year.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and best practices

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for students.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support for student needs.
• Implement therapeutic activities designed to enhance students' motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary in alignment with IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress made.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and relevant training opportunities.
