Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking dedicated Occupational Therapists to provide specialized services to students ranging from PreK through 12th grade in multiple locations throughout Washington State, including Chehalis, Olympia, Long Beach, and Hoquiam. This contract position offers a valuable chance to support student development and educational success across diverse school communities.

Details:

  • Position Type: Contract, NSY (Non-School Year)
  • Duration: ASAP through June 12, 2026 (tentative end date)
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, 4 days per week, with an 8.75-hour workday
  • Service Areas: Pacific, Mason, Thurston, and Grays Harbor Counties
  • Multiple openings available; candidates may select preferred location

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license suitable for school-based practice
  • Experience working with PreK-12 students in school settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to design and implement individualized therapeutic interventions
  • Skills in collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities
  • Flexibility to serve various locations within the specified counties

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students occupational therapy needs
  • Develop and carry out therapeutic plans to support student participation and learning
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
  • Maintain thorough records and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Participate in team meetings and provide guidance to school personnel and families as needed
