#### **Job Overview**:
As a Short Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating compelling and visually appealing short-form videos (e.g., social media clips, promotional videos, reels, and other quick content) for various platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. You will work closely with the content, marketing, and creative teams to bring concepts to life through video editing and post-production skills.
#### **Key Responsibilities**:
* **Video Editing**: Edit short-form videos (30 seconds to 3 minutes) for social media platforms, ensuring high-quality production that aligns with the brand's voice and message.
* **Creative Collaboration**: Work with the creative team to conceptualize and execute video content ideas for different campaigns and marketing strategies.
* **Audio and Visual Enhancement**: Sync music, sound effects, and voiceovers to video; apply color correction, visual effects, and transitions to create polished content.
* **Platform Optimization**: Edit videos tailored to the specific requirements of each social media platform, ensuring optimal formatting and style (e.g., vertical videos for TikTok/Instagram Reels).
* **Content Sourcing**: Collaborate with the content team to gather raw video footage, images, and graphics needed for editing.
* **Timely Delivery**: Ensure all videos are edited, finalized, and delivered within the established deadlines.
* **Adaptation and Feedback**: Make revisions based on feedback from team members, stakeholders, or audience engagement.
* **Trend Monitoring**: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in video content creation, social media algorithms, and popular styles to keep content fresh and engaging.
#### **Requirements**:
* Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing short-form content such as social media videos, reels, or similar work.
* Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
* Strong understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.) and their specific video format requirements.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and creativity in editing.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
#### **Preferred Qualifications**:
* Experience with motion graphics and animation (e.g., After Effects).
* Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video compression.
* Basic knowledge of SEO and how it applies to video content.
* Familiarity with the latest video trends, viral challenges, and audience preferences.
