I am a newly certified life coach, looking for a social media intern to help me promote my business and build my social presence! I help music industry professionals achieve a healthier holistic lifestyle. Having spent several years in the music industry, I understand how challenging it can be for individuals in this field to prioritize their health and wellness. With their demanding schedules and on-the-go lifestyle, finding a healthy balance can be a struggle. Throughout my years working as a music agent and manager, I saw so many talented, skilled people burn out and leave the industry because they didn't have strategies for sustainability. My goal is to help them achieve balance, so they continue to excel at their craft, while prioritizing their physical and mental well-being - mind, body and soul.

Social Media Intern Role Description

This role is for a Social Media Marketing Intern. The role will be primarily remote, but the candidate will ideally be based in West Los Angeles, and able to meet in person once a week. I am looking for someone in college, who needs internship credits for approximately 15 hour a week (this is an unpaid internship). This person will help me build an Instagram business page from the ground up, so this could be an exciting opportunity to take the lead on creating and growing a social page! The role involves:

• Designing and implementing social media campaigns across primarily Instagram and TikTok
• Coming up with ideas and creating social media content that is relevant for my music industry wellness coaching brand
• Scheduling 2 - 3 feed posts a week for IG & TikTok
• Tracking and scheduling posts in google sheets
• Researching social media trends & coming up with content that incorporates viral sounds & trends in fun ways that are on brand
• analyzing social media metrics & reporting what is working & what isn't working
• Reaching out to & communicating with potential clients via socials

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is outgoing, bubbly, a go getter, and isn't afraid to share their ideas, try new things and take charge of this project! The ideal candidate is passionate about health and wellness (loves to workout, stay active, cook, eats healthy, meditates and prioritizes self-care). Other qualifications include:

• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms, algorithms & metrics
• Proficiency with social media scheduling and management tools
• Experience with graphic design and basic photo/video editing software
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Passion for marketing, design and social media
• Video editing skills preferred
• Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
• Previous internship or relevant work experience in social media marketing is a plus
