Position Overview

We’re hiring a  Solar Roof Installer with  carpentry and roofing experience to join our growing solar team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our licensed electricians to safely and efficiently install residential solar panel systems. You’ll handle the structural and roof-related aspects of installation, ensuring each system is secure, code-compliant, and built to last.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Install residential rooftop solar systems, including layout, mounting, and weatherproofing.
• Perform roof work such as flashing, sealing, and structural reinforcement when needed.
• Work alongside electricians to complete electrical connections and system commissioning.
• Ensure all installations meet local building codes, NEC standards, and company quality guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment on every job site.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.

Qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years of experience in solar, roofing and carpentry.
• Comfortable working on various roof types and at heights.
• Strong understanding of basic construction and hand/power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Attention to detail, teamwork, and a safety-first attitude.

Preferred:

• Experience working with electrical teams or solar installation crews.
• Enphase and Power Cell knowledge.
• Familiarity with roof layout and structural assessment.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
