Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments and careful observations.
  • Craft individualized treatment plans that cater to immediate goals while considering long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
  • Deliver tailored one-on-one speech therapy interventions focused on a variety of needs including language, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate effectively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Educate both patients and their families, empowering them to foster progress outside therapy sessions.
  • Perform occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity in care delivery.
  • Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, staying abreast of the latest advancements in the speech-language pathology field.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is preferred if the candidate is not yet ASHA-certified.
Licensure and Certifications:
  • Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) by ASHA is strongly preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
