\n\nTravel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
\n\nOpportunity:
\nSpecial Procedures Tech - Radiology
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Must have previous interventional radiology (IR) experience with both scrub and circulating responsibilities
\n• Must have Cath Lab experience
\n• Must have moderate sedation experience
\n• Previous neurointerventional radiology experience required (scrub and circulate)
\n• Work in interventional radiology department with 2 single plane (GE) and 2 biplane rooms (Philips)
\n• Day shift operates with 2 techs per room and 1 nurse per room
\n• Night shift operates with 1 tech and 1 RN onsite
\n• Patient ratio is 1:1
\n• Use Cerner (Radnet) electronic medical record system
\n• Work with single plane GE equipment, biplane Philips equipment, and one invasive CT scanner
\n• Perform procedures including dialysis work, arteriograms/embolizations, Y-90, G tubes, TIPS, cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipelines, mechanical thrombectomies, and vertebroplasties
\n• Work every 7th weekend
\n• One night secondary call during the week
\n• Hospital-provided scrubs required
\n• Must maintain BLS certification
\n• Must be flexible and demonstrate strong teamwork skills
\n• May float to VOR when needed
