• Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products
• Understand requirements of building fixtures for fabrication from drawings provided
• Create specific weldment set-ups and fixturing to meet geometric requirements
• Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tool
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
• Looking for employees that can run jobs from start to end in shop
• Minimum 5 years’ experience fitting & fabrication.
• Excellent welding capabilities a must.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
• Experience operation of general shop equipment, i.e. Hi-Lo, Overhead Crane, Small hand tools, Torches, etc.
• Must have own tools
• Maintains work area and reports completion status of all work as required.
