\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts with options for 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• Every other weekend requirement - Friday and Saturday for nights, Saturday and Sunday for day shift
\n• Holiday rotation required to distribute holidays fairly
\n• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 on a 30-bed unit with three 10-bed sections
\n• Must take and pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing contract with 80% passing score
\n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
\n• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
\n• Care for medical-surgical telemetry and progressive care unit patients
\n• Common patient types include surgical patients (hip/knee replacements, bowel resections, hysterectomies), medical patients (MRSA, C-diff infections, COPD, pneumonia), and telemetry patients (chest pain)
\n• Float to Multi Care Unit, Pediatric unit for adult patients, and West Campus MedSurg Tele
\n• May be required to precept nursing students
\n• Minimum 1 year medical-surgical experience required, telemetry experience preferred
\n• Care for stable CPAP or BiPAP patients
\n• Low census standby rotation may apply depending on contract
\n• Any scrub color allowed except camouflage
\n• Use Cerner charting system
\n• BSN not required
